In the past few week we have seen a dramatic increase in our numbers. To all of you who have recently joined I bid you welcome and thank you.

For all of the Brothers who are part of this effort I thank you for your ongoing support and ask your patience while Grand Lodge works. Our patience will be rewarded. In the end we will have everything done the right way because we took the time to do it that way.

Brethren and friends,

Many of you have stepped up and committed to signing a petition to create Massachusetts Lodge of Research. Here is the latest update. The petition is being created by RW George Bibilos, RW Graeme Marsden and me. As soon as we have a format that reflects Grand Lodge's requirements we will begin circulating it. RW Graeme will be circulating the petition on the south shore and I will be circulating it on the north shore. RW George has been working as liaison to the GL.

Brethren & Friend

It has been a while since I have made a post, mainly because there has been little to report. Let give you an update of where we are in the process. We are still five(5) Master Masons short of being able to petition Grand Lodge for a charter. I am putting out an appeal to all of you to send interested Master Masons to either our Facebook group or my e-mail revjps@gmail.com. Please ask them to identify themselves as being interested in being part of the petition.

We are looking into an alternative. I have been in contact with the GL Education Committee with the idea of setting up a Lodge of Research up under their jurisdiction in a similar fashion to a Lodge of Instruction. I am awaiting their opinion.

We are so close - with a little more push we can get there.

Fraternally,

Wor. John Soderblom

Good news - we are getting close

Brethren,

Congratulations - Massachusetts Lodge of Research is gaining steam. In the short time our Facebook group has been in existence, it has grown to 102 members. Even better we have had 19 Master Masons step up commit to being among the 25 we need to petition Grand Lodge to form an ofifcial Lodge; We need only 6 more comittments to be over the top. It would be great if we could have more than 25 when we petition.

If you are a Massachsetts Master Mason in good standing I invite you to step and and join us in this importand undertaking. Contact me through Facebook or at revjps@gmail.com and tell me you are willing to stand with me to create a Lodge of Research in Massachsetts.

Fraternally,

Wor. John Soderblom

Welcome Brethren to the Massachusetts Lodge of Research bog. The purpose of this blog is to keep everyone up to date regarding the ongoing progress in creating a Lodge of Research. The name Massachusetts Lodge f Research is not official in any sense. It is a working name to use as a designation of our effort and intent in the work we are engaged in. We have a Facebook page that I encourage you to join and visit often. I encourage you to continue to follow this blog as I will update it as often as I can.

Fraternally,

Wor. John Soderblom
